Nationwide Design Guides.

Reimagining the way to consume internal resources.

The Challenge.

I was tasked with reimagining how guides are laid out on Nationwide's internal Experience Language website.

The main reason for the redesign was to add in multiple new categories to the Experience Language website. Previously, the website only contained "How-to" guides. The redesign incorporated a new experiance tool kit and a new area to house downloadable content.

The addition of a large amount of extra content presented a challenege. To solve this, I included a secondary navigation area to the left of the viewport. The design was centered on usability. The positioning was aligned with other pages on the website. The inclusion of the navigation enabled me to categorise links and add in an additional search functionality.

The Solution.

A new site architecture, improved UX/UI and added search functionality.

I focused on improving the user experience and simplifying the site architecture to allow for the growth of content. I brought consistency to the guide section by aligning it with the rest of the Experience Language website.
